Since her debut on the Spanish reality talent show Operación Triunfo in 2017, Aitana Ocaña Morales has rapidly ascended to become one of the most influential figures in contemporary Spanish pop. The Aitana singer discography is a testament to her versatility, showcasing a seamless transition from acoustic ballads to high-energy synth-pop and urban-influenced tracks. For fans and new listeners alike, understanding the depth of her musical catalog provides insight into the evolving landscape of Latin pop music.

The Beginning: Trailer and Early Success

Aitana’s professional recording career began with the release of her debut EP, Trailer, in late 2018. This initial project served as a bridge between her time as a reality contestant and her future as a solo artist, featuring the massive hit single “Teléfono.”

The EP was a critical success, establishing her as a commercial powerhouse in Spain and Latin America. It featured a mix of English and Spanish tracks, highlighting her ability to cross linguistic barriers while maintaining her unique vocal identity. The Aitana singer discography was off to a flying start, with “Teléfono” breaking streaming records upon its release.

Key Tracks from the Trailer Era

Teléfono: A catchy pop anthem about moving on from a toxic relationship.
Vas a Quedarte: A powerful ballad that remains one of her most streamed songs.
Popcorn: An upbeat, English-language track showcasing her international appeal.

Spoiler: The Debut Full-Length Album

In 2019, Aitana released her first full-length studio album titled Spoiler. This project expanded upon the themes introduced in her EP and solidified her status as the “Princess of Spanish Pop.”

Spoiler featured collaborations with prominent producers and songwriters, resulting in a polished sound that resonated with a wide demographic. The album included all the tracks from Trailer plus several new songs that explored more mature themes of love, fame, and self-discovery. This release was a pivotal moment in the Aitana singer discography, earning her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album.

11 Razones: The Pop-Rock Evolution

Aitana surprised her audience in 2020 with the release of 11 Razones. This album marked a significant stylistic shift, drawing heavy inspiration from the early 2000s pop-punk and pop-rock movements.

Featuring distorted guitars and driving drum beats, 11 Razones showcased a different side of the Aitana singer discography. The album was a conceptual journey through the stages of a breakup, with each track contributing to a larger narrative. Hits like “11 Razones” and “+ (MÁS)” with Cali y El Dandee proved that she could excel outside the traditional pop mold.

11 Razones: The title track that defined her new rock-inspired sound.
Corazón Sin Vida: A collaboration with Sebastián Yatra that blended pop sensibilities with a rock edge.
Cuando Te Fuiste: A high-energy track featuring Natalia Lacunza.

alpha: Embracing the Electronic Sound

The most recent major evolution in the Aitana singer discography arrived with the 2023 album alpha. This project saw Aitana diving deep into house music, techno-pop, and 90s electronic influences.

alpha was not just an album but a complete rebranding effort, often associated with the “alpha community” and a specific visual aesthetic involving bold colors and futuristic fashion. The lead single “Los Babys” sampled the iconic “Saturday Night” by Whigfield, bridging the gap between nostalgic dance music and modern production. This era has been defined by its club-ready energy and sophisticated electronic arrangements.

The Impact of alpha

The transition to electronic music allowed Aitana to dominate the nightlife scene and festivals. Tracks like “Las Babys” and “miamor” became staples in clubs across Europe and Latin America. This shift demonstrated her willingness to take risks and her ability to lead musical trends rather than just following them.
